While watching the Oscars last night I kept waiting for one of the winners, many of whom are unionized, to issue a call out to the protesters in Wisconsin. That was too much to expect in an evening devoted to honoring a movie about the Kind of England.
(Come to think of it, the film I felt was most deserving of a best picture Oscar was about a heartless billionaire.)
In any case, here's a joke for you:
A unionized public employee, a Tea Partier and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the Tea Partier and says, "watch out for that union guy, he wants a piece of your cookie."
